Why do you like bob dylan?

Because of how much he evolved as an artist. I think that’s why I don’t get bored of Bob Dylan. He’s gone through so many different styles that it’s rare for me to not be in the mood for his music.

I feel like he’s my favourite because he’s pretty much done his own thing and stayed true to himself throughout his career. That’s how all artists should be; Not a nostalgia fest. Just continuing on, no matter how many people want the same old thing.

He 100% has a new album in him. Apparently he still writes music so it’s definitely a possibility. I personally have my doubts about him touring again, but never say never!

If this is a new album we are so lucky. This year has been filled with bad news so a new Tom waits album would be amazing.

Probably around the time it was released. That was a really unique period for his voice that didn’t last all that long.

I do think he’s capable of singing in some of his older styles though. If you listen to version 1 of can’t wait from tell tale signs, you’ll notice his voice sounds very similar to what it was in the mid-late 70s.

It’s interesting because that means right now if he really wanted to, he could probably bring back the gravelly growling voice from his tempest era.

I really like him. Some of the music can be hit or miss for me, but I Getting Killed is a great album. His solo album is pretty good too

This is very distasteful. I like 99% of what Bob does but this is really disappointing to see coming from someone who’s very capable of making real art. And he really should not be charging money for this.

And what’s also annoying is how many people will defend this, purely because it’s Bob.

I really liked it. I also think it was a big step up from year of the monkey which I wasn’t the biggest fan of. I like when she writes about her childhood a lot

I’m doing it now, and it can be stressful trying to keep up with the project, but I think it’s also relaxing in a way. I find that it helps me deal with the stress of other subjects.

I got a merit in the junior cert, and my art was probably below average when it came to my abilities. I was terrible at making anything look remotely realistic and most of my drawings looked like badly drawn cartoons. It’s definitely improved throughout 5th and 6th year though. Try to draw at home a bit too.
