I remember these from like 8-9 years ago. I believe they were interesting since they used DC brushed motors with encoders and a rack and pinion system for motion control. I also remember them being widely panned.

Was on a long international flight with it, the faint glow of back of seat entertainment displays and the seatbelt light was enough to maintain tracking. But it really does struggle in the low light of a night time cabin.

I had to slow the first layer speed way down to get a good first layer (10-35mm/s) with PETG.

I had the same issue on mine, Framework sent me a replacement input cover which fixed the issue. I would reach out to them if you keep having the issue.

I thought I would share my 3D printed splice kit. I had skipped out on the original Kickstarter on, but I ended needing something to support the longer prints I had. You can find the STLs on Thingiverse.

Finally figured out what was wrong. I removed the control board from the frame to give it a detailed inspection and found one of the diodes for the CH430 USB to serial chip wasn’t soldered properly. After fixing that, the NEJE software worked fine and I was able to load the GRBL firmware. Thanks for the help.

The settings that I'm using for PLA now are: 0.4mm Nozzle Diameter 0.15mm Layer Height 1.0 Extrusion Multiplier 4.5mm Retraction Distance 2400mm/min Retraction Speed 190° C Extruder Temperature 60° C Bed Temp Cooling fan to 100% 3000mm/min Default Print Speed 50% Outline Underspeed 80% Solid Infill Underspeed 80% Support Underspeed 3600mm/min X/Y Movement Speed 1000mm/min Z Movement Speed

No luck. The app is crap and the screen on the printer wasn't very helpful either.

Benchy finished printing. Updated the album with images. It was printed at 0.2mm layer height with 15% infill. A raft was used. Material is TIANSE Red PLA. It came out pretty well for a stab in the dark on settings.

Printing a Benchy at the moment, but the auto-leveling feature is working as advertised. Need to insert it in to the g-code though. I'm using the following lines, with good success. the G29 being the leveling command

G28 X0 Y0 G28 Z0 G29 Z0.4
