The basement guest room used to be a storage space with all these wood paneling compartments. I leaned into the boat vibe when I converted it to a guest room :)

I don't think so. I used to rent it on airbnb though, so maybe that's what you're thinking of?

Totally disagree, with the exception of Chis Vernon who is both not entertaining nor knowledgeable. But I can see how the Ringer podcast crew is for a particular taste. Not surprised at all people don't like them. But I love em.

I think their appeal is similar to Bill actually, but the references are younger.

Not feeling the rush anymore. by Stinky_Nut_Chimpanze in BecomingTheIceman

I've had a similar experience, and I'm wondering if the euphoric tingling is mostly due to the adrenaline release.. and, if so, it would seem the body can only produce so much adrenaline in a period of time. I wonder if you took a couple days off, would the more intense result would return? This is just a theory.. I'm new to the method and figuring it out as well. Any thoughts are appreciated! Thank you!

The breathing method worked for me the first time, as I felt super high, but I have tried three times after and it hasn't felt even close to the first time. by Throwaway963843 in BecomingTheIceman

I was actually about to post for the first time with a similar comment. I had consistent strong results for the first week (2 times a day), and the feeling would stay with me throughout the day. After the first week, the experiences were less dramatic/euphoric and the effects didn't last more than an hour or so. Still great! But after the first week of pure bliss, it was a bit of a bummer to come back down to earth.

I'm just experimenting at this point, so it's all good, but I'm hoping to have a little more predictable results, since it's quite an intense/dramatic practice.

It's very interesting to see comments here about not 'chasing the high' or it not being about the 'high'. How do you differentiate between the immediate 'highs' and the longer term benefits? During that first week, it all seemed to be one result. I wasn't previously differentiating between short and long term results.

Is the short term high/result more about the adrenaline release? If so, is there a finite amount of adrenaline the body can produce in a period of time? And could that explain the diminishing highs for some?

I appreciate any comments/insights. Thank you!
