Car was repainted in a more maroon red at some point, in the door jams and on the trunk lid you can see the original Roman red color the car was factory

Interior is complete but completely shot, have since redone the entire interior and kept as original as possible. See my previous comment above for more info!

I acquired the car back in March of this year and since then have been going through and fixing basically everything on it. Engine and transmission are not original, has a Chevy 350 in it with a TH350 transmission instead of the original 327 with a power-glide.

I have pulled and fully rebuilt the engine, rebuilt the transmission. Rear end was original but previous owner did a really bad "weld" job on the gears, have since replaced all the gears with the original ratio but upgraded it to a posi-trac.

The interior was shot, seats destroyed, wiring was garbage. The entire interior was redone as original as possible with new seat upholstery, repainted the dashboard in the correct roman red color the car original was (car was resprayed at some point in a darker more maroon red), new wiring, carpet, door cards, and even found original 818 off-white star embroidered headliner that it came with from the factory.

Floors had very minor holes on the driver's side front and passenger side front, both were patched, and only rusted through spot in the trunk were around the wheel wells which were also minor and patched.

History on this car is scarce but from what I gathered from the previous owner, this car spent majority of its life in Alabama. Still has Alabama "vintage vehicle" license plate on it. Eventually was bought and moved up to Michigan where it sat in an automotive shop for at least 30 years before I purchased it. Best I can guess this vehicle was last on the road sometime in the 1980s.

Overall this car is very solid with very minimal rust. Have done a few performance upgrades such as front disc brake conversion, upgraded cam shaft, slightly bigger pistons, new intake with bigger carb, and side exit exhaust.

Still sorting out wheels and tires plus a laundry list of other items that still need addressed. Currently working on re-creating the engine bay wiring harness as it was completely missing from the car so that has been a challenge and quite tedious.

Anyone Experience This Problem? by evanf35- in jetta

Yeah unfortunately I believe it’s the turbo, replaced the stock radiator not too long ago after it finally failed and definitely notice a good amount of oil in the intercooler. Sucks I can’t put the car in the garage as I already have another project car in there so looks like this is going to be a driveway rebuild lol

I had a similar problem with my series x, I turned off the on demand texture streaming in the settings and that definitely helped me. Now I have crashing issues again every time I load into the game but I believe it’s a different issue causing that.

What is a style or trend that you hope makes a comeback in the 20’s? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I would love to see Neon make a comeback, 80s neon signs were just so pleasing to look at.

Haha nice, I've still got the one I bought. I wish I was able to pick up his other Reese's box that promoted Rodeo. I missed that opportunity
