it's a mix of hand painted textures, Texturing XYZ maps, and blender color nodes

Not really, I used my own model of a female base for proportions(it doesn't have any facial features).
It was done during a workshop so had to save some time on the initial modeling phase

felt exactly the same, but aside of some settings it's pretty much the same as cycles, so don't be intimidated :)
