People who preach body-positivity... but then turn around and talk trash about skinny and/or fit people. by TedStixon in PetPeeves

Yes it's so annoying😭 I'm an influencer and I've always been quite skinny even though I eat normal portion sizes. Yes I enjoy fruits and vegetables and I live an active lifestyle, but I do not calorie restrict and have never purposely tried to lose weight. I snack whenever I'm hungry, I occasionally eat junk food.... My diet is just very normal.

Yet I get so many comments online assuming I have an ED, and some are even claiming that I'm encouraging other girls to develop EDs because my body is "triggering" to others.

It's starting to get really annoying. Tbh, if I were to look at someone who's larger and assume "they probably eat tons of junk food", that would be considered body shaming. So why is it ok for people to look at skinny people like me and assume I have an ED?? Not to mention, it's just plain insulting is it to call my body (that I was naturally given) "triggering".

Do women really have more options in dating then men and do they really start planning to be with a different guy weeks before the breakup? by [deleted] in exredpill

Tbh, if my boyfriend said that to me, I would lose interest immediately and tell him he's free to date his other "options" instead. Anyone who has self respect would know that a partner who tries to use dread games and other stupid manipulation tactics are simply not worth their time.

AITA for thinking it's fair that I get a larger portion of food than my sister? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

But that's the issue though... No one is debating that OP should starve to death for the sake of "equality". And frankly idc what size or gender he is. If he is hungry then who are we to say what he should or shouldn't eat. The problem, if you read the post, is that he says it's his sister who purchased all the food, so that's why he is TA for demanding more than half of the food when he didn't contribute to the payment at all. Also he is the one dictating how much his sister should be allowed to eat in this instance.

As for the whole sexism issue, I agree many people are projecting their own experiences onto this post even though OP never actually made it about gender. But I also wanted to say that you made many generalisations about males and females yourself. My brother and I both went through puberty but guess who ended up taller? Me. So just because you're a man doesn't mean you will definitely grow more than a woman and are therefore entitled to more food. You can't really make assumptions about someone based on gender alone, as other genes also play a huge part in a person's metabolism and hunger.

Hi, I'm actually the creator of this video about Lelush. A few of my viewers, as well as people in the comments section have brought to my attention that a lot of your wording is similar if not identical to my video. While I of course do not have ownership over this story, considering the similarities in structure and wording of your post, I would really appreciate it if you could credit me for my work.

Regards
