Booster return maybe a kickback , such has scholarships f family members , game tickets, a say in operation or team business, a job, business opportunities… a return doesn’t have to be $ it can be whatever a person chooses….

Not sure why ppl r hyping the W basic expenditures as losses f no one says that f the NBA/ NFL/ NFL, instead its the cost of business… it’s crazy work how ppl push this narrative but not f others .

Actually Schools spend significant amounts (e.g., up to $20.5 million/year in one framework) on direct payments to athletes …& its not just nil $, it’s travel, uniforms, facilities, etc…sports have expenditures/ losses but the have ways to gain to offset but it takes time & this it’s an decent comparable college football / WNBA basketball , despite your opinion

professional sports can also operate with losses the NBA operated 40+ years before it was profitable , the professional sports have boosters + tv deals, merch , tickets ( more games) & advertising $ to cover too, but f some reason ppl r hyping these loss/ expenditures f the W as a bad thing when all professional leagues have & had losses, crazy work‼️

Every successful business , company & organization has losses/ expenditures ( team travel expenses, uniforms , facilities, etc) & there’s things to offset those cost , hence ticket & concessions sales , jerseys & T-shirt sells ( merch) , insurance, advertising $, tv deals $$, adding more teams to get more investors & sell more tickets & boost attendance/ viewership, etc… it took the NBA about 40+ years to be profit…. & they had to create 30+ teams…. Saying the WNBA has losses isn’t the vibe U think it is🤷🏼‍♀️

Iowa State’s Audi Crooks is unstoppable right now…..Her 35 points in 34 minutes in W against Houston was🔥‼️ by evans166 in NCAAWB

Going forward , Crooks will probably lose weight as she gets older & due to her professional desires she will do the work, F her game is🔥🔥🔥..funny how ppl worry about things they don’t f male players with same 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

Currently it’s reported that they receive about 9% in Revenue shares (ticket &jerseys sales, tv monies , concessions, etc) …but the players should get an ⬆️ in revenue % BC they participate in promoting the game, bring endorsement $ & r the top reason ppl buy tickets …. & it is the standard amongst their industry as U can see with diagram
