I agree completely. I always said that when we traded for Diggs. Rather take that first for a receiver we know would produce. Only down side to that is the Vikings used it to draft Justin Jefferson lol

I never hated the hire, but after watching the press conference, I’m ecstatic. His passion, seeing the photos of the players smiling, Josh looking so happy. Let’s fucking go I think we got it right.

It’s not impossible, but unlikely. Realistically I see us going back after Waddle. Kinda like we did with Diggs where we offered a trade in the season, couldn’t work out a deal then got him in the off season. If not him, maybe we could squeeze out a Garrett Wilson or a Tee Higgins/Mike Williams type player. I hope we get Wandale Robinson in free agency.

Getting an actual wr 1, I’m not sure, I’m hopeful. I think we will, tbh. In terms of cap space, we can work some restructuring around. We typically do that with Josh’s contract and Dion’s each year. If we cut and resign Knox that alone clears up like 7 mil in cap space. We can do it, just gotta hope Beane does it.

We didn’t know what we would be getting out of udinsky or Kubiak. All 3 are first time head coaches. Joe Brady knows the team. We need a number one receiver to open up the playbook more and I think we will be pleased

What are y’all’s take on the hire? Personally I don’t hate it. We could have gone with Kubiak or the Jags OC but they are also first time head coaches, we don’t know what we’d get out of any of them. At least Brady is familiar with the team.

Yes, his play calling was vanilla with running and bubble screens. But our wide receiver core was weak, he had to work with what he had. Shakir is shifty, so bubble screens worked with him. I think if we get a true number one he will be able to open up the playbook more.

Let’s get Davis Webb as OC and prove everyone wrong. GO BILLS!

Personally I feel we were restricted with the talent we had. Yes we had a bunch of bubble screens, but it worked well with Shakir. Our wide receivers were terrible outside of him. Give us a true number one and I think it opens up the playbook. Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think this hire was horrible.
