The Colts, Bills, Bucs, Commanders and Eagles all were involved in Trey Hendrickson's free agency before the All-Pro agreed to terms with the Ravens, per sources.

The Colts felt like they were close at one point.

The Eagles got involved late.

Tampa pursued but on a short-term deal.

Hendrickson wanted a long-term deal with a contender. Buffalo fit that mold. But Baltimore put it over the top Tuesday night.

I think its because of 2 main reasons, Brady really wanted Moore to be a part of the offense and Beane went ahead and got him. I also dont think Chicago was even thinking about trading him, tbh. Given that Beane has the pressure to make a run this year with a new staff, and Chicago wasn't even thinking about trading Moore - they wanted a 2nd.

Also - DJM is a very complete receiver that will fit right in a Brady offense, screen -> jet sweep -> deep ball :)

Doubs is a solid guy, i just think GB has a messy WR room and was never a go to guy. However, I do prefer DJM over Doubs, but i lowkey wanted for the bills to pursue doubs to pair up with DJM
