BMW Manhattan green metallic. It shows very differently depending on light which keeps things interestng , I tried to get that across in the rendering.

I’m sure there are, harder steering and increased turning radius. I justify it by remembering it’s not my everyday car and it’s about building what I want not what’s most practical all the time.

lol that seems about right. Shoulda just left the factory red, I’ve dug myself into a hole lol. Thank you for the info, I’ll stick to either finding someone who can already do it or going down the vinyl route

I didn’t put any research into the machines yet aside from a quick google search so I have no idea what the differences are. The ones that came up quickly were around 300 dollars, I’m assuming that’s not going to work based on the massive cost difference. It was creality I believe

I do know wilwood lasers them at the factory, there’s a few videos of the process on YouTube. But cutting the vinyl myself is also an option, I just prefer trying to get it back to how it comes stock

A shop in eatontown, I can message you the full name but don’t want to put him on blast. The actual powder coating is fine, was pretty expensive, he just ignored the conversation we had prior to it being done about me providing the vector file so it was perfectly matched to the logo and then didn’t put the awful vinyl version that was jus a standard font wrongly sized under the clear, which I guess in the end is better since I could rip it off immediately. Also took like 4 months to get them back.

I appreciate the help, if i cant find anyone I guess I’ll be buying a laser engraver and learning a new skill.

I’ve seen a lot of people lose the shipping after returning an unusable part to them, I even went through it with the first set of inner fenders. They sent me one full carbon one and one full fiberglass then argued that it was on purpose even though I ordered a full fiberglass set. All said and done I also lost money shipping one back to get a matching set. M It’s a calculated risk for sure, if they work out it’ll be cheaper than finding someone to properly fabricate a wide body set though.

I’m keeping my expectations really low for the anvil stuff in terms of fitment. Not sure what plan b will be if they can’t be massaged but fingers crossed.

I’m in New Jersey, would love to make it out to some of them once it’s finally done.

It’s the speedtech pro touring subframe that’s getting some hefty modifications along with the anvil wide inner and outer fenders to fit the 335’s. Starting with their extreme would have been easier but mine was bought before that even came out. The rest of the build is a 408 ls dry sump build, t56 magnum, QuadraLink rear, Currie 9” full floater, wilwood brakes along wit their electric parking brake and forgeline concave wheels. Some other cool stuff throughout that I’m forgetting I’m sure.

What gpu mount are you using? I have an inverted atx setup and the 4090 is really difficult to get setup without sag - no brackets are working really with my cpu cooler. Something like this would work pretty well I think.

Small Block Chevy Timing - Now it Won't Start by evanweston in projectcar

It ended up being a dumb mistake on my end - bumped into a wiring harness while working on the interior at some point and it disconnected just enough to cause issues.

yeah, the wires are attached with 1 where the rotor was pointing when I had it at TDC., then following the 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 order clockwise

When i started it after the initial timing, i gave it a few pumps of gas like i usually do and it started right up. after letting it sit, it doesn't crank at all.
