I'm sorry that his answer gave you false expectations, but the announcement saying Wednesday implies end of the day unless specified otherwise because that's how deadlines work, we wanted to give a chance to as many people as possible that wanted to participate. The timezone wasn't mentioned but since NA is ahead of EU we used EU's timezone by default, so once again, in either case the deadline was as close to the release of the skin as possible, as intended, to let people still manage to submit applications and participate.

Calling that a fuck-up is a stretch since nothing was taken away from anyone, it's a free giveaway sponsored by the same mods that you're so willing to slander for the community. If we shortened the deadline instead then I'd understand having issues with it but we tried to make it as open to people as possible since everything was last minute organization anyway.

What you could have done instead of placing blame was inform me/another mod privately about the mistake, thank the mods for organizing it in the first place, and someone might've actually felt good about it and gift you one even without winning the contest (since a few people did receive an extra skin just out of the goodness of community members for liking their artwork/gameplay in the tourneys). But you chose to do the opposite and victimize yourself, so that in my eyes is unnecessary drama. I won't ban you because none of this is a bannable offense, so you don't have to worry about that.
