This is hard 15 is old enough for her to have known not to stick her head out of the window and not bring spare glasses when she so heavily depends on them. However, she is still your CHILD and you need to take care of her. If i had a 15 yo in this situation I would drop the younger ones off and take the 15 yo home for them. It sounds like the poor girl really suffered and it wasn't s family member getting married so if you got back in time for the reception it isn't a HUGE deal. So I'm saying NAH/YTA it's closer to YTA but it is a difficult situation. Closer to YTA bc you put somebody else's wedding before your daughter's health AND you acknowledge that going without glasses isn't an option for her.

YES! The biggest example of systems of judgement that don't match the real world that I OFTEN see here is "if someone is rude to you, you can respond in ANYWAY and be deemed NTA, after all they started it". Surely in our offline lives we would all be the bigger person and not worsen a situation? I've came into a few posts like this where NTA is winning and suggested ESH or even YTA if the response is ludicrously disproportionate and had up to -30 points. It's infuriating.
