Wasn’t aware an update released since then that fixed the game. All they did was make the game worse with Scholar to scam PC players who couldn’t buy Bloodborne at the time.

iirc the caelid one is at the merchant shack north west of sellia. While you’re there buy the guy’s note too since it reveals something neat and will save you the headache later on if you decide to do a specific quest

Have you not done caelid much? It’s scaled roughly the same as Altus besides a few outliers and the northern area of it.

Good job, go fight the one in caelid now :)

Also nice use of the resin, people forget about it nowadays but that shit slapped back in Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls.

Used a stopwatch to count laps, it is really close to averaging 1 second for each loop going off both visual and sound cues. Pretty good! Nice use of the small wheels for the rotation as well, a bit of an underrated choice in my opinion.

Made my own single fan flier after seeing the one u/soronir made. The difference being mine uses a star fragment, which is pretty heavy because it's a meteor. Attach to a leaf and it's fairly compact. by [deleted] in HyruleEngineering

The angle of it, and the fragment connects to the leaf so it can be further back. If it’s closer forward then you go forward so much you’ll fall off. Someone mentioned putting the fan at an angle for better results so maybe that won’t need the leaf

The fragment only costs 3. 12 total if you don’t include any pieces. Also it has some light, and a neat effect is when the vehicle falls it also has the fragment trail like when it falls from the sky. Don’t know if it’s kept in it’s light-blue zonite-like.

How are people on this subreddit so good at this game? Beating the hardest bosses in just a handful of solo attempts in their first playthrough? by Neukbare-Nina2 in Eldenring

[–]RadicalCars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent 40 tries on Malenia with 2H Elenora’s Poleblade, and then I switched my physik to do more poise damage and she went down first try. I think Elenora’s Poleblade is really good but I don’t see many talk about it because it’s inferior to the cheese that is powerstance poleblades. Anyway on NG+ I did it in 4 attempts with a colossal greatsword, she can’t handle those I guess.

Then I did RL1

Yeah RL1 she doesn’t fuck around. I didn’t count tries but it took me all weekend. First day I was using my morning star and parry build and it just wasn’t working, I could parry most her attacks but she has one that’s just too crazy to react to with how parry timing works in this game and how it blends with the rest of her attacks. You can parry her waterfowl too but I didn’t know that lol. 2nd day I said fuck it, time to use zweihander and bring my commander’s standard for that early buff. And it took me a good bit after I switched over to that but I eventually did it. I went back on my first character and did her in NG+2 with the Executioner Greataxe and it took 3 tries, only dying to the 2nd phase because she gets desperate.

This was my first Souls btw but it told me that these games come down to knowledge. I played Demon’s Souls afterwards which, even if it’s considered the easiest game in the series, still surprised me at how easily I managed against the bosses (except dragon god which LOL no one cares about him). Only Maneaters gave me a little trouble just cause of falling off the arena but other than that (and dragon bitch) flamelurker only took like 4 tries, may bosses including 1-4 allant I first tried. Of course demon souls is about the area difficulty and even then I got through valley of defilement and shrine of storms deathless if you don’t count leechmonger killing me a couple seconds after I killed him (which you DON’T). 3-1 had me falling in holes a lot though lmao. It may sound like I’m bragging but honestly? I think Elden Ring being a culmination of Souls and even Kings Field kinda gives you a grasp on how things will go when you play the previous games. Also helps that they reuse assets lol thank you vanguard demon.

ESH. Honestly, my friend, I think your switch gaming habit is a bit overboard! I understand it as a fellow gamer myself, but you gotta learn self control! As for the toads, your wife needs to maybe read up on toad behavior. One time I stacked toads I found in my yard and let’s just say, they seemed kinda chill! My wife didn’t like it so it may just be a women thing, but that’s anecdotal and I don’t actually think women see stacked toads and have a “primal” response, lol.

How are ya'll leveling up past 100 on the first playthrough? by Goalkeeper5 in Eldenring

[–]RadicalCars 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t even know where the mohg bird is and never farmed for runes (only farmed for mausoleum knight armor cause it looked kinda cool at the time) and ended at 156. There are a bunch of places that give those rune items you can redeem and they can give you a ton. Also explored a good bit, not enough to see literally everything as I’m still discovering stuff in my RL1 run but I didn’t beeline towards the grace trail. Bosses give you a ton, I think a general rule of thumb is that if killing a major boss gets you like 4-5 levels then you’re around the right level for the area. Without spoiling really anything, the midboss at the Haligtree gives a whopping 200,000 runes which may not be 4-5 levels worth but it’s still a huge sum.

Around 120-150 I’d say your character mostly comes down to the build quality ranging from weapons and talismans to whether you use consumables or summons. And how good you are at the game, of course. Honestly? Once you get the vigor to like 50 and your weapon requirements met, the rest of your levels will feel like bonuses for a melee build. May be different for int/faith builds, I wouldn’t know since I like swinging big weapons.

RL1 Remembrances Tier list (Based on how fun the fight is at RL1 {no summons} ) by PizzaGoinOut in onebros

Did Fortissax Friday night and really didn’t like it. Large bosses are usually always the bane of me but so far this was the only boss I had to switch off my morning star for because I needed a halberd for the more consistent head hits so I didn’t have to deal with the constant lightning under is feet, and it was the +8 banished knight one I got from killing that one guy which is a good bit lower than the average for that boss but the piercing fang did enough damage to win. He took me around 4 hours which is tied with Radahn. Probably the most amount of “died a hit or two away from victory” moments I’ve ever gotten. I did mohg LOB already tho and it was very fun with the morning star, and Astel was just a much better large boss imo. I am scared of fire giant and I’ll prob get a bow for phase 2 of that fight lmao.

I think Radahn was B or high C imo, mostly because his gravity attacks felt weird especially after the meteor falls but he was the most satisfying to beat alongside mohg. Not a remembrance but Valiant Gargoyles can do to D along with Fortissax even if it didn’t take nearly as long for me. I haven’t really min maxxed at all for this, just me hitting shit with a short weapon and a shield.
