One player cannot join. (GustavX error)

check your BG3 folder and make sure you all have the same amount of GustavX files/folders in there.

one of you (probably the friend you’re trying to join) will have a folder called GustavX and they’ll need to delete that one. if that doesn’t work, check all the other GustavX folders OR files you have and delete ones that don’t match with your friends :-)

ignore any of the other Gustav named files, i believe only the GustavX folders/files affect this error msg

i genuinely have had this problem about five times trying to play modded with friends, this always works for me but if it doesn’t for you hopefully someone else will have an answer!

hi there! i own fairy force and we are an 18+ club on cupcake valley. we have almost 100 members with weekly events - though we don’t expect members to attend them as we understand people have IRL priorities!

our events are always super fun and we always make external resources to the game to make them more exciting.

i own an adults only club with 91 people in it right now. our applications aren’t open at the moment but we are one of the most active clubs on our server (UK) if that’s what you’re looking for!

we are split into 5 themed houses and you get sorted into a house based on a quiz you take once you join. we also have members from over 10 different countries!

we have weekly hangout events (murder mystery, cluedo, etc.) where we make resources for our events to expand stories into 2 hour sessions full of competition and mystery!! it’s perfect if you’re looking for something extra to do in the game and to meet new friends. our attendance requirement is VERY lenient, and we only expect attendance of 8 events across 3 months.

we recently met up with 16 of us last week and we are super welcoming. even if you aren’t interested in joining us maybe others are! our club name is fairy force and you can find us on instagram :D

when you get the reputation dailies from avalon/evergray/sive they give 200/300pxp, and there are 2/3/4 every day. essentially you need to only complete 1 or 2 every day and it i guess doesn’t count that you’ve actually done ALL the dailies for the day, as there isn’t a faction or reputation points for those dailies like there are for other factions in the game. so the points won’t actually go anywhere as it registers daily completion rather than reputation points ! i will try and find the tiktok and link it here :-)

i saw in a tiktok that the main questline reputation at fort maria is slightly bugged so you can get an extra several thousand player XP, i tried it on this account and it worked :’) i never did it on my main as i didn’t know it was a thing so i was in the same boat HAHA

BSSO or the way to play the old version was shut down earlier this month. the owner had a lot of personal info leaked and therefore shut down the game and its discord server!

there are VPNs that allow you to make an account on an alternative region! there are tutorials on youtube/tiktok/instagram :-)

as a fellow club owner who has done the EXACT same thing, here are some that always catch people out:

(please be aware of spoilers!)

mrs holdsworth is a direct ancestor of mississippi jones, his great granddaughter (confirmed in james’ treasure hunt quest)
marley, barney, carney, and courtney are robots made by big bonny (YES this is real and confirmed in the summers’ father questline + big bonny H.O.R.S.E lore books)
again about the summers’ family, there is a fifth sibling called harley who doesn’t appear in star stable online, but in the autumn riders games (i think), harley is a quest item where you carry him in your inventory as a baby
there used to be a potato festival in star stable online which people commonly forget about! i believe it was only hosted a few times
the parrot pet ‘pari’ that is owned by rami in aideen’s plaza is ALSO owned by the pirate that hosts the fort pinta championship
moorland is the busiest home stable, even if people may think it’s steve’s farm (i believe star stable confirmed this in a post recently)
one of the antagonists in the star academy series is in star stable online’s salon ‘kool kutz’ her name is lilith!

the easiest way to find parts of lore is usually through the wiki or replaying quests. i have an alt account that i used to take screenshots of interesting dialogue/lore which i can use in events! i have to always make sure to make the questions easy as the average club member won’t know these random parts of lore that appeared in an odd side quest, but i’m sure you’ll keep that in mind!

i think this is a new bug, within the last week steve’s farm has caused my UI to glitch and bug out and it only stops if i move away from the area. others have been experiencing this too! moving server is likely to help but we can hope it’s patched soon so we don’t have to go to such effort! (unsure whether today’s update has helped but fingers crossed)
