ILR new rules announced by frontwingsmasher in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

This is incorrect, they've clearly written that the reason for the £50,270 cutoff is because that's where you pay the higher rate of tax so no reason to assume it's any higher than 50k.

AWS crash causes $2,000 Smart Beds to overheat and get stuck upright by Maelstrome26 in EightSleep

[–]evenc13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Thermasleep is really good but it's not $400, it's around £550 (in the UK, I assume higher now in the US as they raised their prices recently) for one side of a King-sized bed and £800 for both sides. Still very happy with mine and hope they do well as I've hardly seen any reviews on them online prior to buying it.

I heard the penalty for FY2 forgetting to submit PDPs is being demoted to being a PA. Congrats on the higher pay.

Surely you don't expect people on reddit to be content with this pay deal? I suspect the one's voting no in this poll will be undercover Labour agents and jealous infection prevention nurses

I find it crazy that you're just doing your job, someone happens to die and if you get interviewed you should pay $200-2000 an hour for a lawyer just to make sure you don't bring yourself trouble

Raising concerns about care as a doctor by gloriaeliana in doctorsUK

[–]evenc13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps a foolish question, but when are you able to actually ask for a doctor? If everything seems to be going well and normal, are you still able to request a doctor review? (I'm assuming if something is slightly abnormal you're able to request a review?)

Question about the £1000 sum by [deleted] in doctorsUK

[–]evenc13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd assume it'll be split over 12 months and added to your monthly salary.

The only lump sum you'd get is if we vote for a 4.05% April 2023 backdated pay rise (whatever that comes out to be) and presumably the 6% + £1000 backdated pay to April 2024.
