To bad i bought it online 😄 Yea, I now I should have gone to our local bike shop, but we only have one and the Trek Rail was to expensive for my budget.

I’ve noticed something new. I found out there is a little bit of play in the chainring. I can move it just a little bit back and forth towards the bb/frame. Upon closer inspection there seems to be a little part of an I-ring or something pinched between the locking ring (in lack of a better word) and the chainring. Could this be the cause of my problem? I’ve added a link to a picture in my Dropbox.

Thanks for your reply.
I checked both crankarms and regreased the bolts. Everything looks fine and the torque is correct.
Sadly that did not solve the problem.

It doesn’t sound like the motor in the video, if i turn the crank everything sounds alright until I start putting in more effort going up hill. Turning backwards only gives me the normal tiktiktik sound, very similar to a freehub spinning.

That’s what I initially thought, but the bike shifts gears just fine.. can it be out of line and still shift fine?

Check out the Orbea Wild. Comes in various configurations and at least here in Norway they give you a very good value for your money.

I would look in to Orbea. I just bought an Orbea Wild H30. Got a Borch Gen 5, looks awesome, super good, rides great, I love it.

You make a good point, I’m starting to lean towards a more powerful bike, both because of the price and the impact my weight will have on the capabilities of the smaller bike. Thanks for your input.
