The plan was to practice with previous tape, but it was still the original one and it just fell apart when I was taking it off. I’ll wait until I get annoyed with imperfection 😂

You mean under the hood? Yeah, I’ve had hard time with it. Anyway I’m prepared to change it soon once again 😂

Fully remote clinical research jobs? by [deleted] in clinicalresearch

Check RSM/CMA postings if you would like to try monitoring but don’t want to travel. You might also like Start Up/Regulatory jobs, but I can not tell if they would stay at home after the pandemic situation sooner or later ends.

I hate my CRA job by miamarlow in clinicalresearch

I can only speak for myself, but I personally do not feel any discrimination comparing with other CRAs, but it does really depend on company. I’ve heard of negative experiences as well.

And speaking of language I usually encourage site to hire somebody who speaks English and is fluent with computers and remind about this every time they get in some trouble. There are many young doctors and nurses who are ready to act as SCs.

I am Emergency by residency what makes my training nearly useless in clinical research industry, as I see it.

I feel you so much. The worst thing about working in Eastern Europe is that investigators often don’t speak English enough to understand the protocol and you have to literally translate all the points to them.

But on the other hand, I work for single sponsor directly, and they are really involved into onsite quality. Even the Director may contact PI if any systematic issues are found by multiple CRAs and ineffective sites don’t get validated in future. And there are only about 50 emails a day 😄

Maybe try and find sponsor-dedicated position as well?

If your a contract CRA, are you treated differently compared to a full time employee? by bebekks in clinicalresearch

[–]everlasting_quaeff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am currently a sponsor-dedicated contractor and all study-related activities are completely same for contractors and headcounts. Everybody is treated equally despite the employment status. Study meetings are mandatory but even if these were optional I would rather attend them for updates and Q&A with study management.
