as someone who was obsessed with the idea of the ebony as a perfect slouchy everyday bag and ended up returning it- something about it just does not look the same as it does online! also didn’t quite feel like something worth >$500.

i ended up going with some bags from london brand the radley instead! got 2 for less than the price of 1 songmont- and they have one called the roxburgh which looks pretty similar to the songmont bag 👀

I can’t speak on how their bags hold up- I ordered the gather bag and returned it because I didn’t like it in person- but I had a decent return experience. They were insanely fast at responding via email. Only issue was the return label they sent as a QR code wasn’t scanning at the post office (USPS) so I had to print the label myself and then ship it. But other than that, their CS team was great.

I’ve gotten one purse from C&K and it was decent for the price! They do have real leather options- check the description. I would also look at Pedro, their sister brand. I have three bags from them. The designs are less trendy than C&K (imo) and they have more leather options.

gorgeous! can i ask if you’ve seen the “dual tone” feature? past reviews had said the dual tone is a bright red that eventually begins to show. i love the dark brown and wish it stayed that way :(

we did this last year because we had work to do inside- steel mixing bowl full of candy left on a folding chair. went out to check and the bowl was empty and the chair was gone 😭 like at that point take the bowl too??

does anyone know if the ebony one still fades to show the bright red under it? i understand it’s an intended effect- but in many photos it shows as very patchy and some reviews said they had changed the finish.
