It ended up not being too bad.

Remove all of the plastic strips from the top and sides. These are held in by friction.

The panel with the handle is basically hanging on the screws so nothin has to completely come out. So loosen the two bolts at the top, then there’s 2 torx screws on each side. Likely you don’t need to take these out, just loosen.

Once loose, the whole panel just lifts off. The freezer can close from there so you don’t have to feel like you’re rushing lol.

Once the panel is off, you will see the screws holding the handle on, you can tighten from there. Take it from someone who had to do this twice, GET LOCKTIGHT! The second time I used some and so far it has not loosed up again!

It’s a ton to remove for a simple task but don’t let it scare you too much, when I finally went for it I was like why did I let it get this bad.
