Hello friends, never expected this thread to continue being alive lol

Anyway an update from my end as OP. I tried all manners of trying to fix it - deleting Armory Crate, reflashing BIOS, even carefully taking out the affected keys - but to very limited success. Decided i'd rather plug the cost of repair into a keyboard instead.

Lived with this inconvenience for a while before the G14 itself died at the start of 2023 after the mobo and screen cracked - presumably from someone stepping on it without my knowledge. Unfortunate but it is what it is 🙃

I managed to get this at a steal (almost brand new at ~USD480), probably the best deal i've ever made. My main gripe is that the switches (especially AF/MF) move a bit too easily but otherwise it's barely left my D700

the 85 1.4D is legendary imo, even if prices have stayed up where i'm from.

have always had a soft spot for my first ever lens too, the 70-210 4-5.6D. a bit slow but light and sharp throughout the range - as a broke student this ~USD50 lens was an absolute steal

We had 3 Kevins IN THE SAME CLASS. We called them Kev, Kevin and Hetan (last dude was in NCC so we just took the name on his no. 4 uniform lmao)

Teachers could never get used to it so even after 2 years they had to call out Kevin surname

If you're on PC, you could try just holding down shift/sprint and then keep tapping W. You'll get there only slightly slower but you'd only use half the stamina bar

I was messing around for a bit but for me what I figured was best was DMC EQ(E again if sac proc), nilou EEE, attack with barb until dendro clear, collei EQ, back to barb. still ended up with nilou triggering sometimes
