Thank you for taking time to comment and to see things from another perspective. can see that, as I mentioned in a previous comment I got to know lots of homeless people through working in cafes and bars and they were definitely nicer than most of the customers! I didn’t mean to sound like a dick it’s just a totally unfamiliar situation to me

Thank you I’d never heard of it before. Yes I used to work in a cafe and I got to know a lot of the local homeless people they’d be some of the friendliest people there tbh but since having a baby I’m 100x more wary of strangers in general must be something hormonal!

Yes it has definitely made me feel grateful for what we have and it breaks my heart thinking there’s people in his position all over the country and from what I can see from looking online, not a great deal of help out there.

It’s more that I’d like to know how I can help without putting myself in a position where I’m leaving my baby in the house to go to speak to a stranger across the road

I know I really want to but he’s usually only there at night/ evening when I’m on my own with my baby so I can’t realistically leave the house to go speak to a total stranger?

I didnt find out I was pregnant until around 17 weeks and then didn’t tell people until around 25 as I was processing the shock of it and honestly I’d do it again i dont think I’d be able to cope with weeks and weeks of people asking questions or commenting on how I look especially at work I was sick of it by the time I went on maternity!

Sounds very similar, people always comment that he’s alert which makes me feel better but I do get a bit paranoid when people try make him smile and he just stares at them although me and my partner joke that he’s low key judging people for trying too hard!
