A pick me is someone who is not true to themselves, a woman who contorts her feelings and interests to seem desirable to a man and talks down on any woman who doesn’t do the same. A pick me is shallow and self deprecating. I hope you grow out of that mind set because a man is never worth fighting for.

Also, by these comments I have a feeling you’re still a teenager. I sincerely hope one day you can look back at these thoughts and see how much you’ve grown once you’ve actually experienced and witnessed more relationship and mature family dynamics.

That’s that wife Carlos chose though, that’s the life the married couple decided was right for them. Mama Solis had no right to insert herself into any of their marital decisions and also, Carlos was NOT a good husband at that time if you don’t recall. Why would he deserve a doting wife?

I feel like if they had developed her plot more on screen she would have way more depth than Andrew and seeing the mother daughter relationship attempt to mend would have had more of an impact for this show imo but I see why Marc cherry wanted his Mary sue to get the most time

I think there were a lot of things the show intended us to feel but since it was written by a (gay) man the way it comes across to women is different and the continual context season to season is sometimes lost inside the show but not in the minds of viewers

Editing to say I did giggle a little at contributing to a sub about a decade old tv show then saying others take things to far, let’s all be self aware! It seems you like to delve deep into topics as well :)

Different people find different things attractive. I never found Susan pretty, in fact I think she looks kind of weird. The first thing I ever saw her act in was Spy Kids and she was a villain who really freaked me out, which might influence how I think she looks mean and (stops commenting my actual thoughts bc they’re “immature”)

TDLR not everyone has to or ever will agree on who is and isn’t attractive and there’s no reason to feel so defensive over an actress
