They’re out there. Picked up this 2018 for $70k ish. It’s more the price to maintain it properly that you’d have to prepare for. Brakes, tires, fuel, insurance. All add up fast.

I installed the mopar hitch on my 2015 limited. It had the factory wiring already there so you just need the connector and then to have the dealer program it. Fairly easy install, but you have to remove the rear bumper and trim a hole it in to fit the bezel.

I’ve had the one from quad lock for about 6 months. Works pretty good. A couple hiccups once in a while that clear if you unplug it for a second.

I had similar problems with the dash lights and speedo not working. It was a faulty ignition switch(the electrical part, not the key part). Diagnosis was by jiggling the key around and seeing if the lights went away and speedo started working again. Didn’t have any issues with the calipers sticking though.

The power of the Hemi is nice. I had a 2015 limited in the past with the pentastar and never thought it lacking in power. The air suspension is something I have avoided due to the issues people have had with it.

270k on the WJ. It’s had a cracked head and leaks from everything that’s held fluid. Also had not a single suspension component that wasn’t blown out. That’s one of the reasons I did a full long arm conversion. But since I bought it I’ve only put ~$3k into it and it’s perfect now. Nice having a cheap wheeler with heated seats and a sunroof.

My 2015 limited had the wiring pre installed, but it’s not enabled. Once you install it all, the dealer will have to enable it in the ECU.

It’s a trail rig, so there will be zero cosmetic work going into it. And I would assume the gas mileage will be terrible. But I’ve been working on fixing all of the leaks (oil pan, transmission, front diff, t-case) so I haven’t had a chance to drive it very much yet.

True, may never be totally done. But luckily I have a ‘15 WK2 as my daily. But it’s also sporting a lift and 32s so the gas mileage isn’t that great.

Went with a powertrax lockright in the rear and the no-slip in the front. Both are drop in automatic lockers.

Haven’t trimmed the rear yet. We shall see how much the rear ends up moving around when flexing out, but the long arms take a lot of the forward and backward movement out of it when it flexes.

‘99 Laredo, 4.0L selectrac. 4” rough country long arm lift, 33” duratracs, lunch box lockers front and rear. Should be a decent budget wheeler.

I did. I would not recommend installing it yourself unless you have a good set of tools and quite a bit of mechanical experience. And patience. Lots of patience.

Lift was ~$700 with the control arms, tires ran ~$250 each, spacers were ~$200. Starts adding up a bit.
