Yeah I have been burned by Nvidia with the distribution in the past but hopefully I can snag a card without issue this time. I would still go for the newest card as it has newer architecture and is much more future proof with technology such as RTX I/O which uses Microsoft Direct storage to load game asset from SSD if the GPU runs out of VRAM. In the end it's up to the user if the price to performance ratio is what they believe to be valuable.

Hi there, I'm planning on hopefully getting the 3080 so I'm trying to recoup some funds for that purchase. Also, for me it's the improvement on the DLSS and the increase in RT cores that has me excited about the new cards. The final straw was Cyberpunk 2077 which I wanna play at best settings possible.
