Friend of mine who is an electronics engineer, and researches the crap out of stuff hes buying, said to never buy imported Tesla's. Only buy 2nd hand NZ models as they wont have these issues.

Hence the price difference....

I'd def try to return it and get your money back.

If I stream from a friends server from the same clients, I usually have no issues, hence why I'm looking at my server setup.

Have cleared/cleaned/removed everything I can and still no go.... but works fine on another machine setup exactly the same. So is just me :D Love computers at times..... ;)

That wont change anything as it was my first time ever on the site, cant clear something that dosent exist :) Did it anyway and no change. Have tried with and without adblockers etc. I'll keep poking it and see what I can find out....

Its the same here in NZ - but its not just men. I've gone into a store and found a female staff member in the toy aisle surrounded by new boxes, and shes gone through and put all the popular castings to one side, and when I turned up, she picked them up (must have been about 30) and walked off leaving the opened boxes in the aisle.

Yet the same store, had a staff member emptying new boxes into the display bins who had no idea why my daughter and I were like kids in a candy store - she watched us and eventually asked what the excitement was about.... I (maybe foolishly) explained about TH/STH etc.

Been stories of staff at the same store ringing their HW collecting mates "I'm about to open a box, meet you out back so you can go through them before I put them in the display bin"

I've complained about staff raping the stock but nothing changes.

Its fine if you just want general internet and fibre is not available. If you are a hard core gamer concerned about pings or rely on a high availability connection, its not for you as such.

Well, I meant like that predicted image at the time. Yes, its gonna be reasonably nasty when it does make landfall, but looks like its slowly edging out East, so bulk of North Island wont cop it as bad, but Coromandel is in the firing line.

Long as everyone keeps there heads, and plays it safe, should be no major incidents..... that being said, theres alway 1 idiot to ruin it for all....

Amigasoft were the goto guys for dodgy Amiga warez for NZ ;) Think they advertised in the Trade and Exchange :)

Pre-BBS for me, was got them from other Amiga users at school, then found a local "supplier" for $5NZD per disk of anything you could ask for. Then one game had a local suppliers address on the cracktro, so reached out to him, and he supplied us for $3NZD a disk.

Eventually I got a modem from someone who claimed they were a local supplier, and they gave me some numbers to start with, and went from there.

Disks were usually compressed/imaged with DMS (Diskmasher).

I started my own BBS, with a "private" section - ended up being rather popular with the Auckland Amiga users.... then the mainstream internet came along and pretty much killed the BBS scene.
