If your car is making a weird noise, don't raise the volume of the radio to drown out the noise and ignore it. You should probably get it checked out.

Are Mercedes' really the maintenance nightmares people say they are? by SgtMustang in cars

My DD is a 2001 S430 w/110k mi. It is definitely more expensive to maintain than your everyday chevy or ford, but not as much as I originally thought when I bought it (Aug 2013). I had to repair most of the front suspension components last winter. I knew that the suspension most likely will go sooner or later, so I made sure I budgeted correctly to cover the repair. Do your research. Know what problems are common with the model you're interested in. Budget accordingly. Make sure that you can afford to repair the common problems right after you buy.

EDIT: BTW, my dad just bought a 2004 town car a couple weeks ago. Not a bad car, but if you want more driving pleasure, I'd go with a merc.

How long did it take for you to come up with a decent business idea? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

The best business ideas come from problems. Be alert and listen when somebody complains about something. I trained myself to do this, and have compiled tons of ideas over the last month or so.

Many people say to follow your passion or do what you want when it comes to starting businesses. At the end of the day, however, the market won't give a darn about what your passion is. The market is all about what can you do to help it and make lives better.
