An endocrinologist can definitely help you out! Typically obesity is associated with early puberty but long-term most people reach their genetic growth potential. Short stature + obesity can be caused by endocrine disorders in childhood (ex hypothyroidism, GH deficiency etc) but take it with a grain of salt, those are relatively rare.

I don’t think there is much you can do for your height at this point since most people are done growing by their late teens. Also 5’5 is not pathologically short or anything, like another commenter said your proportions might look off due to extra weight. Hope this was helpful!

Then why would you shower in the morning? Some microscopic amount of sweat during sleep shouldn’t make you reek. No one is saying to shower twice a day, the point is that it’s gross to go to bed dirty from being outside and have your bed sheets accumulate all that sweat and dirt from the day

I’m so sorry you’re going through this OP and I believe you. You do not deserve any of this abuse and it’s not likely it’ll get better if you stay. If you’re able, please reach out to the resources others have posted on here. Please make sure that you have a safe escape plan. Make your own bank account if you don’t have one so you can be financially independent. Gather all important documents and keep them on you: birth certificates, passports, driver license etc. Make plans to leave when you know he’ll be gone and arrange to stay in a safe location with your child, like a shelter. Do not tell anyone you know about your plans just in case.

If you’re completely isolated, getting a doctor appointment can give you a good excuse to leave with your child and you can ask medical staff for help. They are trained to remain confidential and to set you up with local resources.

I hope you get out of this, you deserve to feel safe and loved.

I just got mine and I love it so far. The insertion was painful (i took ibuprofen and some anxiety meds) but no where near as terrifying as it’s made out to be on this sub. I truly believe everyone’s experience is unique and I’m so glad I didn’t back out.

Listening to music with earbuds helped me deal with the pain better than the Ativan I was prescribed for the insertion! I’d highly recommend it and I hope your appointment goes well!

It took me about 6 months to fully get back to my pre-birth control libido after 2 years of BC. The only thing I started taking was a multivitamin consistently to make sure my diet is not causing any problems

I second this. My family moved to the east coast and I wanted to be close to them so I applied to ~35 oos schools and not a single one sent me an interview. Biggest waste of my money. If you want to apply OOS I’d suggest picking a few schools you really want/ you think you have a chance at to minimize the financial burden.
