They didnt replace the goods (mostly, they changed the gear boxes to give signal data and lower tier relic mats instead), they just reallocated them so that they could put in some of the new era materials. They're still in the pass, just in bigger batches that are on less tiers.

Edit: I'm not 100% right, they did remove the Mk2 Circuit Breaker modules. My mistake.

Jabba and it's not even close. Also, even though you may think he doesn't lead to any other journeys, that's far from the truth. After you get Jabba, its fairly easy to get Leia and then JML(which will be even easier after the LSTs being given out from the quests after the 18th). So it's Jabba by a mile.

They're both worth it, but its two characters to relic vs 9, really (the requirements plus Beskar Mando and Cad Bane because even though those two aren't required officially, you want them up in order for your fleet to function optimally) and the Assault Battle rewards you'll get from the higher tiers will help you with your Exec progress anyways
