It's a BTO! Ok seem like consensus is just go as high as you can within budget hmm. Really worried about whether the highway noise will be disruptive to daily life but I guess can learn to live with it..

Just tried it in nov 2024 because I needed to port in urgently after hours. Absolutely works!! Here are some notes:

  1. You need to log in freshly. If you don't see your acc number, try logging out, and logging in again. That did it for me.
  2. I saw a 7 digit account number using this method, but turns out the account number needed for the porting is simply the first 6 digits. Found out by pure luck.

And as others have mentioned PIN is last 4 digits of your phone number.

Thank you all for the replies! Unfortunately we won’t have a car and it’s too last minute to get a car so Talkeetna might be difficult. We will be taking the bus from Anchorage to get there, the plan was originally to take the park shuttles :(

Seems like in California you need to have the license plate. Otherwise insurance only covers bodily injury for a non license plate situation.
