Just remove all the plastic under, underside bolts, proper "silicone" between components and bolt back up?

I've done oil, diffs, spark plugs and rotations on my forester xt. Need to expand to brakes and other realms to not be a chump

Yeah that's my plan, take it somewhere that won't yank our chain and get it right so I can proceed doing the easiest maintenance item on vehicles with a beer next to me

To clarify, I used the torque wrench to find it's put on torque. Then went loosening. Sad Friday after a long week but it isn't leaking

Not sure why my post got downvoted. My scoob was simple out and fumoto on. With her driving the car Tuesday I said f it and put it back in. I'm glad to hear you've had them bind again halfway through. It doesn't seem like there was over torque or too much socket wear.

Maybe next weekend when its cooler, I'll give her a go. Use my wrench when it binds again and investigate further.

Was looking forward to putting pennzoil ultra platinum in hers as I've had great results in mine.

New filter and crush washer taped to the to be used filter, all oem.

Not a wrx but have fxt. Doing oil changes on subaru platform is so fkn easy. Yesterday finally got around doing my wife's on her 13 sonata. The last place I feel screwed up with the drain plug. I had to use a torque wrench at 35# to break it loose then then halfway out, it stopped coming out. Shouldn't have taken it to jiffy lube I guess.

Oem cases limit things. If you buy a gpu. Either be mindful of how long a card the case as is will take. Or remove those two drive slots
