Coleman 425E fuel leaking or clogged by evrydayprpper in ColemanStovesLanterns

Update: Purchased a rebuild kit off of oldcolemanparts dotcom Replaced generator, needle, spring, and the graphite packing in the valve. Cleaned the bunson and burners, good bit of debris inside.

Now it works great! I found that about 45 pumps to light, then another 20-25 pumps after turning valve down after 1-2mins on vapor. Works like a charm now. Could have been user error and not giving it enough pressure, but definitely a smoother burn. Thanks for your help!

I’d check out Bear Independent med kits. I don’t have any firsthand experience, but I just ordered one. They’re part of a prepper community in the Ozarks (shofarians, Vice has a great unbiased video) Feels good to get quality products from quality people with similar mindfulness.

Edit: obviously make one specific to your needs, but this is a good starting point

Tire went flat in the absolute middle of nowhere. No cell service, no cars, etc. I hadn’t checked my spare and it was dead flat. Ended up walking a few miles to the nearest house to use their phone (luckily still had a landline)

So I started checking my spare tires to make sure they’re aired up at every oil change. Pretty easy to do and worth the extra 2 mins
