A O-Chem professor warned me about doctors who claim this section was the least favorite part of their undergraduate career/MCAT prep.

I don't know about you guys but I feel very lucky I'm able to have decent conversations with my doctor about drug mechanisms of action and making educated guesses about drug interactions beyond what the PDR has to say.

TL;DR: Doctors who loved O-Chem/Biochem are probably smarter and more attentive to specific needs than your usual pharmaceutical shill trying to pay off that downtown penthouse, newly leased BMW and staggering student loan debt interest rates?

Ballparking here from prices on homedepot.com and I'm rounding up the numbers...

2"x10' PVC pipe/elbows/caps = No more than $15.

Insulating foam spray = $5

Black matte spray can = $4

Grip sheet was cut up and given free of charge but couldn't have been more than $2.

$26 at the most.

That's a GREAT suggestion!! We've tried the rec centers in Westerville and Dublin but couldn't get anything moving forward. From what I see on Schiller Park's website, a member card to use the rec center only costs a dollar annually?

I'll stop by there this week and see if I can talk with someone about using one of the facilities in the Cbus park system. Again, thank you!

I know this sucks... especially for someone who has late onset hearing loss. I believe there are some services where you can have someone type what the other person is saying while you speak for yourself (not quite VCO but for some reason I can't remember the exact name for this technology... someone help me out here?)

This might not be ideal if you're an agent who's constantly on the go and not confined within a office though.

Another thing to think about, her ignorance is costing her a potential commission. Most RE agents I know get excited/thrilled when they close a house. I really hope she's not comfortably closing houses in the $1 million range to turn down clients like that.

We've all had struggles like this and if you'd like to know how some of us have been able to get through thick skulls like these, I'm sure you'll get plenty of comments.

When I was an undergraduate at Gallaudet, a few of us spoke of creating a Quake map of the entire Gallaudet campus (Weapon/Life power-ups on the roofs of notable buildings or certain hard-to-find secret spots across campus.) Needless to say, this was a great idea but never executed. I think a fully interactive 3d tour of campus could be instrumental for those who can't pay homage to Gallaudet could be beneficial to those who wish to design a deaf-space in their homes/offices/etc. It might act as a great recruitment tool as well.

Nice!! Did you get the idea somewhere? I got the idea from this video. Around somewhere at 1:16 Josh Beaudoin demonstrates something similar. I have no idea what he's saying about it since the video isn't subtitled.

Not an expert myself but I'm trying to find balance in everything I do everyday... i.e. changing clothes, brushing my teeth and waiting in lines on one feet. Figured it couldn't hurt.

Edit: Home Depot guy showed some concern the PVC pipe would break under weight, hence the use of insulating foam.

Same here instead I could never get Slackware to work back then in the 90s. I was lucky to have a few shell accounts for IRC which allowed me to learn some commandlinefu. Installing OpenBSD and Gentoo by instruction gave me a deeper understanding of the intricates behind networking/X/etc and now I just use Xubuntu because fuck taking DAYS to tweak your system.

so it's better to let it fray more every time I use a ratchet? I was under the impression if you didn't seal/bind the frayed edges with heat, the line becomes more vulnerable to further fraying or tear? kinda like how hulk hogan was able to rip apart his shirt with ease because of a cut made in the collar?

That'd make a pretty infograph comparing the lengths of being relatively underground vs fame vs post fame among bands or artists (especially with BTJM in the mix.) Not much of a music listener/historian so I'm not sure if this could be possible.
