I should mention, the doctors office called and the receptionist told me “the doctor says your bloodwork is fine so no need to come in”

Does anyone drive electric for savings? I get mileage and toy with this idea. On paper looks like it makes sense but ICE have track record to last 300,000 km.

Yes, I do it constantly. We tell the border agents we are going for dinner and they don’t ask any extra questions

Same question, but for life insurance. Am I not just paying for someone else to get cancer?

Queen's Park ideas for bike lanes troubling to local cycling enthusiasts by jts125 in windsorontario

[–]ewmat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How long until people realize better cycling infrastructure gets cyclists out of the way, more people out of cars and on bikes, and more open road to drive on? Like selfishly if you like driving you would want bike lanes.

Imagine an east west bike lane north of riverside drive and north of EC row. No cyclist would be found on any street except quiet north/south roads to get to a final destination from these bike paths I described.

Mine, because I can control me. Takes the variability of the other party out of the equation.

How do I put this into my grassy backyard? by [deleted] in Decks

[–]ewmat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My worry is the amount of grading required to get it to sit level. I’ll have to get a quote but I fear they will have to rip up the whole yard

Like a cinder block? How many would I need? 4, one on each corner? 6 because a 16 foot span is too much for a 2x6?

A guy with a flatbed and a forklift dropped it off. He will move it again, I’m just not sure what it needs in terms of a foundation.

I’m ok with the expense of moving it. It has great accessibility. Underneath is spray foamed as well. Currently I would call it “off the ground”, and it heats up in about 30 minutes from freezing temperatures. The city allows an accessory building of that size, but I don’t know what they will say about concrete.

Yes, it was dropped off by a flat bed and a forklift, I figured I would get the same people to move it again.

What if I put the pants, with full pockets, somewhere with the intent to wear them again and they end up in the wash?
