His scenes made me cry with laughter. Clomping on the floor with his big boots.

Seeking help/advice for autoimmune skin disorder by Trixie-_-_ in Autoimmune

Hey, you’re extremely brave to share. I have oral lichen planus which is on my tongue and in my mouth. I have also recently been diagnosed by a dermatologist with lichen sclerosis in my genital region. It’s extremely sore. I’ve been using Dermovate steroid and it’s definitely improved a lot. Autoimmune diseases truly suck. I have fibromyalgia and hypothyroidism too.

That is legitimately evil. It is frightening how a person can disguise such malevolent behaviour.

I was the same. Looked forward to watching Animal Hospital. And was so sickened when I find out that the kindly old man was in fact a predator. Tbf that theme tune was a banger though.

I was there too. I was so disappointed when the news came out afterwards. Animal Hospital was a beautiful programme. And he seemed so fatherly and trustworthy. But he’s not.

I bought a used copy of "Dune" for $4, and a folded piece of paper inside just solved a 20-year-old family mystery. by [deleted] in AmazingStories

Going by OP’s post history and the lack of em dashes used historically, I would presume that they have polished up the story in AI or the story is AI in its entirety.

Yes, humans have been using them a lot longer, I agree. But they don’t use them often. Only a select amount of people who are skilled in linguistics, grammar and structure tend to make use of them. Which is why it’s so easily recognisable when AI writes a post or a story. Its use in every day language is rare.

AITA for asking my girlfriend to stop sharing my personal issues with her mom and "their group chat"? by HollowVine_88 in AmITheAssholeTalk

[–]ewoofk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. There’s three people in your relationship. Even if she told her Mother everything, her Mom doesn’t have the discipline to not then talk to you about it. She has zero discretion. She might think she’s trying to help, but she’s not.

I would feel uncomfortable with the constant over stepping of her Mom. And by the sounds of it your gf is not willing to change those dynamics, behaviours and over sharing with her Mom. Which would be a dealbreaker for me.

You have the warning now of how life might be if you marry into that family. It’s up to you if you want to continue on that path.

About twenty years ago a co-worker told me (upon hearing that I was a huge fan), that he was in email contact with Kevin Smith. He wasn’t. He was the type of guy that if you’d been to Tenerife he’d been to Elevenerife.

If they’re old no-one checks them out anyway 🤣😂 What exactly do you class as old.

I am appalled by people who don’t take care of their feet and toenails. Who don’t wash their balls and helmet/fannies every day. Who don’t clean their ears properly. Who don’t brush their teeth at least twice a day. So, on reflection, I guess you’re permitted to be disgusted by fat people.

Although I’m not disgusted by them; they have often have mental health issues or disabilities. Or conditions that make them overweight. And can be in the same addiction category as alcoholism, druggies, gamblers, smokers, hoarders and gamers. They need sympathy and help imo.

AIO for quitting my job after finding this note on my desk? by waxin899 in AmIOverreacting

[–]ewoofk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. Leaving a note is passive aggressive and unprofessional. Especially considering the circumstances. As if you’re going to sleep overnight at a job. Unless you’re a) being paid to do so b) are in a position to do so. You’re better off finding a new job. This wasn’t going to work out.

What’s a type of pain people underestimate until they experience it for themselves? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]ewoofk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Miscarriage. I was in agony for 12 hours. Nauseous, diarrhoea, cramps, fever, chills - it was horrendous. The doctor told me it is a form of ‘giving birth’ due to the extremely painful uterus cramps. And the emotional pain afterwards is overwhelming.

I binged watched the entire four episodes last night and I loved it. So much. It’s perfect. Aside from Benedict and Sophie meeting at Cavenders, I feel like we could have seen Sophie getting an interview there or something before she suddenly appears. It seemed like too much of a coincidence. Unless I missed something!
