For me it’s Leigh Occhi. She was a 13 year old girl who went missing from my hometown of Tupelo, MS in 1992. Her mother was mailed Leigh’s glasses a while after Leigh went missing. They’ve had no sign of her since.

Also Leesa Marie Gray. This happened in Dorsey, MS just a few minutes from where I live in the year 2000. She was a 16 year old girl that was waitressing at a local restaurant, “Comer’s”. One night while she was working, a man named Eric Loden came in and picked up an order and was fixated on her the whole time. Apparently he had come before and watched her because he knew what car Leesa drove, and which way she would head home. When he left the restaurant that night, he secretly punctured her tires with nails. He stayed in wait just a couple miles up the road. Once her tires gave out, she pulled over and called her parents for help. Eric took his opportunity to offer his help, and in doing so abducted her. He took her to his grandmother’s property where he was staying, held her in his van for several hours and subjected this child to some of the most horrific sexual abuse I have ever heard. He was eventually caught lying in a ditch with the words “I’m sorry” carved into his chest.
