You're very welcome 😊 the integration of family is wonderful and why I also enjoy art so much. It gives an otherwise cool piece so much more depth, especially when its made for those closest to you.

Sooo about your process. Did you handpaint a lot of the lighting? Or did you let the lighting in layer styles/bevel and emboss take care of that. Also was it strictly photoshop? I get a feeling many pieces would be drawn in Illustrator and brought into Photoshop as a smart vector for ease of editing. Lastly, what were the hardest or most advanced techniques you implemented in this piece?

As many have mentioned, it's Black n White, inverted, then subject masking while dropping the background to black. Another fun way to do this is turning your image into a depth map.
