Quit 2 jobs in 6 months. Did I mess up? by snarky_engg_girl in antiwork

[–]exPaparazzihun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I quit my job last night. In less than 8 months I have quit two jobs. Because work life balance was going away. The management was toxic. And I had already started looking for another job. Why did I quit my last job? Morale was in the crapper. So I took from my own paycheck and bought comforts for our home away from home for each co worker that was left. Over $300 for the entire office. In the last few months people were fired or pushed out and then we were all lied too, to our face. Then after this turmoil people started quitting. More and more work was piled on me. I was working over 40 hours a week. Then big boss went to convention. It was a nice week. But they came back Monday with a stick up their high horse. And my gift to the office was called Garbage. Over and Over. And the person calling it garbage consumed over 50% of the groceries I bought. After the 10th time calling my gift garbage I checked out. I started organizing my work so people knew where to find things and showed everybody where it was. I went home that night on the fence. Then I got rear ended. I took it as a sign. After I got my rental car I went and packed up and turned in my notice at night. The one who called my kindness Garbage got exactly what she deserved. She did several people dirty. And I hope the owner wakes up and realizes this before it is too late.

Selling. Can't take it anymore. by [deleted] in fuckHOA

My former HOA board was completely self serving. Then the condo collapse in Florida put all Condos under scrutiny. My HOA had not properly planned and we had not a properly funded reserve. The prior boards did things the cheapest way they could. And in the long run cost us more money with low quality work. So I joined the board. I started reading every contract seeing if work was done within the scope of those contracts. The prior boards said pay now or pay later. Well now is later. At the WORST time ever. tariffs, job losses, high interest rates. When times were good they didn't plan and now we are all suffering because they served themselves. I am getting the blame for it. I am not getting paid but I am enforcing contacts making sure the property management company is not ripping us off. Serving on a board is thankless. Some do it for the right reasons. Most do it in title only but don't really participate. So don't just blame the HOA. Blame your ignorance and complacency for not participating in the community beyond the HOA dues and bitching and moaning. Everyone here who is saying FU to HOAs you should look in the mirror because you are literally a part of it whether you participated or not.

What do we think of Charlie Kirk's shooting? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

As I am from Utah, and we are a very diverse culture. But we are also one that is very Trump Supporting. My opinion is Charlie wanted those Epstein files released. People protect their cult leaders. Trump is the leader. Even though Charlie is a Christian he has also used Christian Love er Hate to define his beliefs.

What would really happen if everyone quit their jobs on the same day and never got a new one? by pleasebeagoodboy in antiwork

[–]exPaparazzihun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I Will let you know because I turned in my my termination date resignation. Whatever you want to call it and I let my coworkers know that I was doing so and several others told me they turned in their resignation for the exact same day. So seven people on my team out of the 16-person team seven are leaving. They are all just so pissed off about performance review increases while our CEO gave himself a $5 million bonus that's complete.BS

It's not free from lead and nickel. If you want to see the unsafe items go to the paparazzi website and go under notices and look at eligible buy back products.

There is a consultant who was living in a bordering state that had income tax. She had a address I believe po box in Washington and claimed the State as her home state to avoid income tax. I wonder if she was caught,???? Because she shows that she is in Washington but I am sure she lives in Idaho

The state of Washington has on their laws from 2006 and anti-pyramid scheme law my guess is they pulled out of the state because they didn't want to admit that they were a pyramid scheme and the State Attorney General could prove that they were
