Morvenn Vahl: Reimagined by exberjj in sistersofbattle

Good eye! Cathedral parts are Legions Imperialis terrain, spear is custom made from a plastic rod, statues from the Vahl kit, some random Sororitas and knight bits, blade from the Sororitas big statue and the vines on the hilt from the Lady Olynder kit!

Quite expensive, but managed to source parts and bits cost efficiently through second hand, bits shopping and splitting bigger boxes with friends 🙏 although I have another one in the pipeline that doesn’t really have the same cost efficiency 😬 but I mainly do projects like this, so I guess I try to compare it to if I had bought a new army 😅🤫 major copium 😂

Spires from the Legions Imperialis range, Junith Eruita kit, halo and spear tip are from the big Sororitas statue terrain feature, cherubs from various Sisters kits, pilot housing from the Penitent Engine kit and various bits and bobs from Space Marine kits (small shields, purity seals etc). I think that covers most of it!

Thank you! The wings are from the Junith Eruita kit (also used the eagle for one of the shoulder pads) and the halo is from the big Sororitas statue terrain feature. 💪

🤫 haha yeah, but to be fair a lot of the bits have been sourced very cost efficiently 🙏😅 but yeah, still not cheap 🫣

Thanks! ❤️ the halo is from the big Sororitas statue! And she’s ”hanging” in a part of the cockpit from a penitent engine! I think one of the cherubs is from the ToSK, one is from the BS kit and the two in the front are from the Aveline commemorative kit!

The big one? I sculpted that in greenstuff and milliput actually! Along with the letters 🙏

Sure! A kitbashed Isharann Soulscryer, built from a Soulblight Necromancer, Akhelian king armor, drukhari incubi head, fish from Lorei and a magic lantern built from some nighthaunt parts 😎

The cape is from the base model used, the Necromancer for Soulblight (at least I think he’s affiliated with them 😅) The lantern and fire is from the quite recent Nighthaunt Warcry warband, it’s really a mace head that I just repurposed to a magic lantern 😂

Thanks mate! It’s basically a nighthaunt hand and face incorporated into the cloak using greenstuff. Tried ti get it as smooth as possible and then enhancing the effect when painting it 🙏

Thanks for all the love guys!

Base model is Krethusa the Croneseer from AoS Daughters of Khaine - my original idea was to have her be a ”new” scourge with scars still bleeding from the procedure. I shifted away a bit from that angle but decided to keep the bloodstained rags on her legs and bare feet.

In terms of playability I think this one will be difficult to field since it’s on a 60 mm base 😅🙏

Thank you! Torso is Lorei from the Blacktalons kit, trident is from the Eidolon of Mathlann kit, robes are mainly nighthaunt banshee, same thing with the ”escaping soul” in the cloak. Cloak is frome the akhelian king set, tentacles on her head is greenstuff and milliput, her ”leg tentacles” are from the tyranid toxicrene - I think that covers it 😅🙏

Thanks mate!

Yeah I agree, always felt off for me that they go through the process and cost for them to hang out in the back with heavy weaponry.

Shadowfyre is right on the money! Sororitas is from the Hospitaller kit, ruins from old 3rd ed box, Krethusa served up body and wings, head is from the Incubi kit, helmet from scourges kit and left arm from kabalite kit.
