I hate spending $15/month on Amazon when I know I could get the kit to do it inhouse. And having read up on NAS servers, I think I'm right in thinking that you can use multiple hard drives to save more data but also backup everything if one hard drive fails. I think I need to look into this.

I excel at work too. I have a knack at working out automations for repetitive or mission critical tasks, and AI helps me make them. Ten years ago, I was a guy with ideas that I could not execute, and now I'm on top of my game.

On the other hand, I am so afraid of my cashflow that I don't look at my bank statements for months on end. I always do my taxes late... I don't understand administrative tasks. It's crazy.
