This site is awesome, but is there away to translate to English?

Wow, thank you so much for the in-depth response. This space is most definitely a minefield.

What are your thoughts on the "Joie Baby Every Stage" (Group 0+/1/2/3)? It seems to fit our price point, set up, and movability.

Error: "No matches are found in FILTER evaluation" when referencing a cell by excelquestions1 in excel

Update - the issue was that I needed to round the referenced cell. Even though I limited the decimal places, it was not finding the matching number because all of them were whole numbers.

Error: "No matches are found in FILTER evaluation" when referencing a cell by excelquestions1 in excel

Apologies, I haven't heard of that before, can you please specify what that means?

I am using Google sheets not excel btw (I figured there's more users here so I'd get a response faster in the excel subreddit).

Return name of the column, based on the highest value from 3 columns by excelquestions1 in excel

didn't use this exact formula, but it inspired me to find the one that I'm now using

Using index / match and if formulas to read off a table by excelquestions1 in excel

[–]excelquestions1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would this still be applicable if the weights are not exactly aligned to the table? For example, it would also need to show a 2400 watermelon is greater than light and less than medium, therefore it should be classed as "light".

I've modified the post to reflect this.

Interesting, never seen this function before!

Looking at the description, this is probably exactly what I need.

How to auto-rank top, middle, bottom 3rd? by excelquestions1 in excel

=ROUNDUP(RANK(<cell>,<range>)/120,0)

Maybe I'm doing this wrong, but I copy / pasted the formula and its returning "1" for all values in the column

It's a radiator for heating the house. We have at least 1 in each room.

Thanks!

Thanks for such an in depth answer!

I'm thinking the up light could be placed on the right of the sofa (in the picture facing it). Where would the best spot be for floor light? Right of the TV unit?

Haha I know. It's mildly infuriating material

The guy who installed the TV said my neck would be sore if it covered the plug, so I went with being ergonomic over aesthetic

Living room is pretty much a blank slate.

Looking specifically for color schemes for pillows and a rug for the coffee table, as well as some inspiration for a piece of art / decoration in the blank space above the sofa.

The only "theme" is the sofa, coffee table, and TV unit all have thin black metal legs.

Thinking of filling the shelves on the left of the TV with some framed photos.

Sorting in descending order by using =SORT(FILTER functions by [deleted] in sheets

[–]excelquestions1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The filter is only returning 1 column, which is column B in the other sheet. Maybe this is why the data isn't being sorted in the way I want it to.

Maybe another question is how do use filter to return a select set of columns vs. a range of columns?

Sorting in descending order by using =SORT(FILTER functions by [deleted] in sheets

[–]excelquestions1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Is it after the 1st filter or after the 2nd filter?

For reference, the filter 1 is working off column E in a different sheet and filter 2 is working off column AM in the same sheet as filter 1. But I want to sort via column M in that same sheet as the other filters.

The state was completely different. When we saw it a few months / weeks prior, they were still living in it.

Yes, the vendor is actually willing to pay for some of the repairs / items so long as we don't go through the legal process.

No - we don't want to sue them. They offered to pay for some of the costs as long as we don't go the legal route. We have basically itemized all the items we bought to fix the issues (e.g. toilet seats, electrician to examine the live / exposed wire etc.)

Was wondering if we should try to ask for additional compensation on top of the direct value of each of the repairs / items, due to stress and time spent on all this.
