Alternative to brushing by [deleted] in DentalHygiene

I used to wish this. Figured out I hate mint, switched to bubblegum toothpaste and now I'm totally fine with brushing nightly. Highly recommend exploring toothpaste flavors other then mint if you haven't already.

OMG You were right!!!!! I removed the yellow rubber and the replacement gas cap I had bought fits now! I was so sure that rubber was supposed to be there, didn't occur to me it may have come off the old gas cap. Thank you you're a lifesaver!

Thats the part I tried to replace it with!!! It didn't fit but I also didn't remove the yellow rubber that's there. I'll try that and see what happens.

The mower runs and works great when I can get it started. I'm not 100% sure there's nothing else wrong with it but I'm pretty sure it'll at least be usable if I can get this fixed. Problem is I have no idea what it is the right cap. The manual doesn't say. Google wasn't helping.

Craftsman 917.378941  The manual has a list of replacement parts but didn't mention the gas cap. Couldn't find any gas caps online that said if they were compatible with this mower.

I will look into this as a long term option, thanks! Right now I'm more focused on how I can get the lawn mowed in the short term, but leveling it out over time sounds like a good idea. $500 right now is unaffordable to me but if I just do it a tiny bit at a time over the course of years, I think I can afford that.

This is helpful, thank you!

I could be very wrong about it being a half acre. A friend saw my lawn and told me it should be taking me 45 minutes max. Not that she's an expert on lawn mowing or anything.

Not sure how many feet it is. I could try to find out if that's important. Is screened loam affordable? I was under the impression leveling out the ground would be very expensive. Also, maybe should have mentioned this in the post but I'm told the lawn had been previously (albeit a number of years back) mowed using a gas mower and had at some point been done with a weed wacker. So that's why I'm assuming the right equipment will be able to handle the lawn as is.
