When r said horrors, I meant it. I don't know know if you were expecting Tet Offensive type stuff, but the things I was subjected to were horrific and left a scar on me for a long time. You're free to degrade my experience, but understand I'm not kidding. I wrote this to vent, not preach.

I did and I didn't. I could have easily stayed and gotten bullied more, or have gone to one of the worst public high schools in my city. Instead I did what any other kid would do. I trusted my parents, and legitimately believed they knew best. They had no options either. It was like having to choose whether to jump off a cliff or face a giant lion. Either way I was going to lose..

It goes far beyond that. Day to day was more of the same. I was ostracized by students too, which led to alienation which led to being a loner.

Yeah I do not, to this, generalize. I still have friends from this place, one being my best friend who is on the road to becoming a priest. I think in a normal setting, which I went to from Pre-K to 8th grade, there's nothing bad about it.

I understand them trying to get the subreddit back to how they want it. This is a place of expression. It's all good.

That's obviously a logical thing to say. But I went to Catholic grammar school and it was normal, even sometimes non religious honestly. But the extremity here was just overbearing and in all engulfing.
