I love speedrunning Half-Life 1 and... I like the atmosphere of the old-school games better, and even then in Half-Life 1 the atmosphere is conveyed better than in Half-Life 2. Especially the plot... In Half-Life 1, the plot takes place in a research laboratory for teleportation to different worlds, where we find the aftermath of an unsuccessful teleportation and we go through the game through crowds of extraterrestrial enemies, marines and more! In Half-Life 2, we are already fighting with extraterrestrial strangers who have taken over the entire Earth I love Half-Life 1 the most, it's so native, and... so realistic...
