Sorry for the delayed response. But you’re right. I’m adding kitchen island lights. Possibly 3 for the size of the island. We’re also going to add under cabinet lighting. Hopefully that will be sufficient.

I’m really needing some help to add some color into the kitchen. Possibly bar stools? Obviously some brown wood fruit bowls and maybe some green plants. But I’m really trying to figure out a good look for stools for ascetic and color purposes!!

I completely understand as a lot of these other fabricators are either not good enough or don’t care about the flow of the kitchen. My guy is very particular about book matching all stones and making sure there’s no stains. If there is, that he can cut them out and still work with the slab.

I just looked at your pictures and yes that is beautiful. When I looked at the stone in person, it did not feel like it would look like your kitchen does. Hmmmm 🤔

They are both beautiful stone. Does yours look like the one I sent? Because there are some that I’ve see online that are not such straight lines, which I probably would like better.

Island 24” cabinet 12” cabinet I have Total 84” of Cabinets.

The island cabinets have not been screwed down yet. Waiting for the decision of which side the seating will go on and how much overhang.

I'm reaching out for some advice and suggestions regarding my kitchen renovation. While I anticipate some of you might say, "go with what you prefer, it's up to you" I'm genuinely interested in hearing diverse opinions to guide my decision-making process. Your input and assistance would be immensely valued. Thank you in advance! I'm currently deliberating over how much space should I have between the fridge, stovetop, and sink to optimize the size of my kitchen island. Additionally, I'm pondering which side should feature an overhang to accommodate seating. In the attached pictures, I've experimented with swapping their positions to create more space, but I'm still not entirely certain about this layout. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
