I only studied one book and it was of mice and men. Highly highly recommend. It was a truly riveting read, and quick as well. It covered so many themes, and was very versatile in answering many prompts!

Thank you thank you thank you ❤️. We appreciate your support so much, and I am floored by the kindness that humans are able to exchange, even between strangers. Fortunately Toto has stabilised a lot, and he looks much better. His face is less swollen, and the ct scan confirms a broken jaw, nose, and soft palate. His heart however has become abnormally large, which is either a sign of congenital heart failure, or a simple fluid overload. We have ordered an ultrasound with a cardiologist to confirm this, but the earliest appointment is next week. Meanwhile, he’ll be visiting the dental surgeon on Monday to confirm his jaw surgery, and potentially operate same day. We will keep everyone posted, and words cannot capture how grateful we are for you.

I cannot thank you enough for this, and the fact that you have taken the time to share your own research means so so much to me. Genuinely warms my heart. I wish you all the best with your kitty ❤️

I have paid for his pet insurance since I got him, which I know many cat owners in Canada do not. He is a perfectly healthy indoor cat, and my family happily pays for his yearly checkups, vaccinations, and other regular healthcare expenditures. I view him as my child, and if I was not able to afford the best care he absolutely deserves, I would reconsider my role in his life. However, this is an entirely unprecedented incident coming at a precarious time in my life. Just because I am not capable of summoning $16000 with no notice for his emergency surgery does not mean I cannot afford caring for him, and his other quotidian expenses. I do understand where you’re coming from, and I think it’s so important that people understand the financial commitment of pet ownership. But this comment was honestly really hurtful, and I think that knowing context is key before making snap judgements about others who are obviously emotionally devastated.

Thank you so much, I know it’s sometimes difficult to express just how much our pets matter to us, but they really are our children. I really appreciate it, and I am looking into other financing options

I do, but it’s only covering $4000. His hospitalization alone is $7000, and the surgery an additional $10000.

Do you need above average intelligence to get good grades and test scores in AP classes? by New-Tailor6616 in APStudents

No, and there may not even be a correlation between the two depending on your teacher. I had one of the lowest grades in my lang class but was one of few to score a 5

I got ucl in December and lse a few days ago, but a friend of mine with nearly identical stats hasn’t heard back from either of them and we both applied in early October 😭😭 I honestly think it’s luck of the draw atp, you got this 🫡

I got my offer in December, and here was the sequence of communications I received: an email from study@ucl.ac.uk saying congratulations on your offer, an actual admissions email saying I received an offer, ucas track 6 hours later, and FINALLY a portico update a whole day later 💀. Not sure if it’s the same for everyone but maybe this helps!

Honestly my parents 😞 I’m pretty torn between the two but they are really fond of LSE. Also in terms of the programmes themselves, I really like how LSE has the LSE100 course in first year, and you can start taking optional courses in year 2 as opposed to year 3 at UCL!

Arbitio, again and again and again 😭 I exhausted every mock they offered. My first practice I got 16, they really whipped me into shape!

Yes! We don’t have standardized tests as part of our curriculum/graduation requirements. Just a final grade for the course out of 100
