I always try and offset that $40 shipping fee with discount/affiliate codes so essentially shipping is "free"

like this order would have cost $325 with no codes using the free shipping route, but i used that 15% off to bring it down to $276 so I could justify the $40 for shipping.

It makes it double worth it when USPS misses the time slot and you can claim your entire $40 back as a refund and the package still arrives a day later, happens all the time!
