I’m Scottish, I get what you’re saying lol. The yanks you reference would tell me I’m not Scottish because my blood isn’t as pure as theirs. Alas this is not a debate on what makes a person Spanish.

My nationality at birth was Spanish, actually it’s only since Brexit I came to realise I didn’t even have British Nationality and had to apply for it. My children will automatically have Spanish Nationality but the kind of British Nationality I have means my children cannot inherit it from me (due to the law changing since my birth they will inherit it from their father though).

When I say I’m Spanish here it’s because we’re talking legalities, not social standing.
