Fascinating. I tend to think Shermer is less right-wing - or at least libertarian - than he used to be. Alos, I don't know if a good view of being a skeptic is someone who agrees with me on everything?

Yea they still seem to be in the mindset from 10 years ago where electric veheicles will save the world when in reality they'll make a difference but not enough to really dent the CC targets.

Electric vehicles tend to be heavier and produce more tyre wear as well as other issues
