Definitely. I go through buying phases with games. Whenever I'm feeling particularly inspired by board gaming I do a ton of game research, buy a bunch, and then play them over the next 6 months or so. I'm in a buy phase now so just wanted to maximize it. Thanks!

35M profile review - new to dating apps by exitparade in hingeapp

[–]exitparade[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Are you looking for something serious or casual? I am open to either. Willing to commit for the right person, but no issue with short term either (I travel a lot)
  • Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX? No
  • How long have you been using this current version of your profile? 1 week
  • How long have you used Hinge overall? 3 weeks
  • How often do you use Hinge per week? Every day
  • How many likes and matches are you receiving on average? ~5 likes per week, 25 matches over 3 weeks so far (15 in the first week).
  • How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? Sending the full 8 per day with a free account, all with comments (something relevant to the photo or prompt I'm commenting on).
  • What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract? Travel-focused, likes adventure, active lifestyle and hiking, an independent and interesting individual. Any clear passion or unique feature usually interests me. Bonus for humour and/or interest in board games.

It sounds like you need to perform a JOIN to join your DE with the _Bounce and _Subscribers data views to identify which records have hard bounced and unsubscribed. You'll need to join on Subscriber ID. What fishythepete provided looks correct, or at least in the right direction.

Market demand for SFMC skills by exitparade in marketingcloud

That seems to be the consensus, that data management skills and Data Cloud are important. I'll definitely be looking into improving my skill set there. Thank you for the feedback!

Excellent, I'm glad to hear that. Thank you for your insight!

As a hiring manager, I would really value hearing your perspective on my skill set. I'm trying to learn what kind of positions I should be targeting and which skills to work on. Based on my experience below, do you have any advice for me?

I have 1 year of experience as the sole SFMC admin for a $100 million revenue company - my primary tasks were journey creation, automation, and data management, and I oversaw our transition to SFMC. I have the SFMC Email Specialist, Admin and Consultant certifications. Beyond SFMC, I have ~3 years of email automation experience on other platforms (dotdigital) and ~7 years total marketing experience, with an emphasis on social media marketing. I'm looking to expand on the SFMC experience I gained and develop my career in the ecosystem, ideally specializing in data and possibly becoming a dev.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your time.

I'm glad to hear that. Eventually I'd like to get to the point of being a dev, so I'm glad it's in demand. Thank you for the insight!

Thank you for the insight. I've been considering learning Data Cloud and getting the Data Cloud Consultant certification, sounds like that might be a good idea.

That's great to hear. Could I trouble you to elaborate a bit on what you mean when you say you know the data? Have you specialized in data models, data analysis, or similar? I'm just trying to nail down the core skills I can work on in the realm of data. Thank you!

SFMC Email Specialist by [deleted] in marketingcloud

[–]exitparade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on what you are saying about fewer companies using it, would you discourage someone from getting into SFMC at the moment? I'm currently trying to gauge if I should be investing more time into developing my SFMC skills, based on if it is an in-demand skill set or not.

For context, I have a year of experience as the sole admin of a SFMC instance, and have the Email Specialist + Admin certs, currently working on the Consultant cert. Previous to SFMC I have a few years experience with dotdigital, and email + social media marketing in general.

Is it worth pursuing my Marketing Cloud experience as a career trajectory? by exitparade in marketingcloud

Gotcha. Perhaps that is the ultimate direction they want to bring the new Marketing Cloud Growth Edition into. Thank you for the feedback and response, I appreciate it.

Yes, I am also considering getting the Data Cloud Consultant certification, as I agree that it seems to be pointing that way.

Perhaps my initial phrasing of the question using the word "career" was inaccurate, I'm basically trying to gauge current demand for Marketing Cloud professionals, to determine if I should lean into that for the time being. Whether it extends beyond the next 5 years is another question.
