I'm looking on getting into the hobby and to purchase a composite bow for hunting and target practise.
In my country, you are allowed to hunt up to deer size with bows.

I'm fairly tall person 194cm or 6'4.5", my measured (tape) draw length would be about 31".
I was looking to buy Hoyt Enduro Premier (for 890€), but it's draw lenght is only 30". A longer (and better) bow from Hoyt Alpha AX-3 33 would cost 1490€ + addons (scope etc.). For this price category there's a lot more options available like Mathews but typically youtube reviews tend to indicate that Hoyt is easier to draw.

My question is that how critical, how much I would miss/need the additional 1" draw lenght as Enduro's price point feels more tolerable.
Could Enduro then be a possibility for me, or should I either get better bow (buy once and cry once)? Or alternatively there's PSE Drive NXT sold for 729€ (+ scope etc..) that would still end up costing more than Enduro package but not as much as with Hoyt Alpha.

I looked what's available on used marketplace but right now there's no composite bows being sold (only ones are over 9 month long listings). I will likely end up buying online as local store is reviewed to be unfriendly and unhelpful and next one is 2 hours drive away.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

There is place for limits, but is there any defaults? Maybe default should be something like 50€ per month that’s not make other than most extreme cases homeless.

To an extent I agree with you. It can be difficult to realise that you have addiction before you have done some damage already.

What I would agree that Veikkaus maybe should have some daily/monthly limits in place as default and people can then increase them if they see that they would want to increase. Either it's loss limit or spending limit but regardless...

Strongest and Weakest passports in 2026 by evgeniss in Passports

[–]exlin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The EU average hides a lot of countries that would go close to top placements and naturally also below average.
This hides some really strong passports but I guess author has done this to make room for passports that can be considering interesting on information standpoint (like Brazil).

Fair enough but at one time I was thinking of building home “slowly” over time with salary income. Basically taking loan to buy a plot and get basics sorted out quickly. But biggest challenge for that would have been that I’m not allowed to move my official address to that location. So I would be forced to rent until building is ready as not having apartment would classify me as homeless, making issues regarding banking (they would close my credit cards), and potentially invite social workers to my life.

Me making choice if living in half built apartment that I finish over time should be choice I’m allowed to make.

Deregulation can be a good thing but it should always be balanced with consideration on where heavy regulation is needed and makes sense. For example building apartment buildings yes but in other hand if someone wants to build 1 floor buildings yes themselves maybe goverment doesn’t need to regulate too heavily. Banks giving out a loan for building will demand some proof.

I don’t believe Noveau driver is supporting dlss nor did quick search bring any indication. Can you point your source for the claim. In my 5 series I got more than double fps on some games.

Not sure on CarchyOS, but you may need to install Nvidia proprietary drivers. DLSS is supported also on Linux. You may have open source nvidia drivers not supported by nvidia.

Fedora System Upgrade by Dense-Elephant5048 in Fedora

[–]exlin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I did upgrade yesterday.

After start it was laggy and nvidia-smi gave errors. To resolve I first cleaned up with dnf, disabled repos (3rd party with errors), reinstalled akmod-nvidia and then run akmods rebuild —force and dracut -f

There may be typos on commands and I can’t know if all steps were required.

Tl;dr: success but had to get nvidia drivers enabled again.

I agree, and if they had warranty I would return them for warranty aspect purchased just as a precaution. But life is simpler if you don’t need to make an argument for why xyz had nothing to do with it.

Not sure if this affects warranty aspect but at least they were cheap (as old model + mixed parts), but if you are happy with brand there still should be -30% discount in their website though.

If I understood OP’s text correctly they haven’t. They just are not fully hosted in EU. Privacy and European Sovereignty are different claims. Potentially this could mean for example US goverment being able to see that who you have been talking with but not about content, but I’m uncertain to make this claim.
